Session length: ~30 minutes

Sensation: A mild pinching sensation during the injections; local anaesthetic is available.

Downtime: You may experience mild redness, pinpoint bleeding, or tiny raised bumps at the injection sites. These typically resolve within 24 to 48 hours. Mild bruising is possible but generally fades within a few days.

Follow-up: Please allow 14 days for any initial swelling or bruising to fully subside. If you have any questions after this period, simply send a clear photo via WhatsApp or email for our review. We are happy to follow-up.

Preparing for your visit and recovery.

Follow the guidelines below for a smooth recovery and optimal treatment results.

Before your treatment:

To minimize bruising and bleeding, please refrain from taking all blood-thinning medications for 48 hours prior to your treatment, unless otherwise directed by your healthcare provider.

Ensure your face is clean and entirely free of makeup upon arrival for your appointment.

Refrain from consuming alcohol for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to reduce the risk of bruising and dehydration.

Maintain optimal hydration by drinking plenty of water in the days leading up to your treatment.

After your treatment:

Refrain from touching or rubbing the treated area for at least 24 hours to prevent irritation and allow the skin to heal undisturbed.

If instructed by your clinician, apply ice to the treated area to reduce swelling; ice packs will be provided by the clinic.

Avoid vigorous exercise and sports for 24 hours post-treatment to minimize bruising, prevent increased swelling, and ensure the product settles correctly.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, and intense heat for 48 hours post-treatment to minimize swelling and prevent skin irritation.

Monitor the treated area for signs of infection, such as persistent redness or increasing swelling, and contact your clinician immediately if you have concerns.
